About Simon

Simon finished in 2013 the university with a degree in Business Studies and started to build his career, with a focus on business, market and competitive intelligence. He is also experienced in controlling in accordance with HGB and IFRS. Furthermore is he interested in Corporate and Sales Performance Management and of course technologies who can lead you to faster results.

Besides his business life he is a family father, semi-pro photographer and part-time features writer. He likes wildwatter canoeing, is a member of the “Augsbuger Kajak Verein” and he loves to travel.

Simon spent several months in Asia. He explored Thailand, Laos, China, Tibet, Nepal and India while he was studying in Bangkok. He travelled extensively in Thailand while researching some projects for his mass media study. In doing so, he explored the country’s and the social minds of the locals and her culture.

His writer career begun as a Poetry Slam Artist in the late nineties and so he started in Poetry Slam competitions all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He was also twice nominated to start at the “International German Poetry Slam” later then he began to work for newspapers in Germany e.g. “Südwestpresse” and “Neu-Ulmer Zeitung”. During his study in Germany he worked for the vice chairman of the green party in Berlin and also for the press team of the German “Pirate Party”, later he run for the city council in Neu-Ulm supported by the Social Democratic Party of Germany.

Why to photograph human behaviour? Simon believes that photographic images are more than just documentary; they can inform and lead to greater understanding of the world. Photographs can bring people to question what is happening around them and in distant lands, engendering interest in places, people and cultures.
